PAASCU grants Ateneo Junior High School Level III five-year re-accreditation
03 Dec 2024
On 27 November 2024, the Ateneo de Manila Junior High School (AJHS) received wonderful news from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) Board of Trustees: PAASCU had granted the school a five-year Level III re-accreditation, valid until November 2029.
The AJHS underwent its PAASCU re-accreditation on September 12–13, 2024. The PAASCU team, led by Mr Ringo Blanca, Chair of the PAASCU Commission on Secondary Education, facilitated the process, which included class observations, interviews, and the review of self-survey reports and related documents. Members of the AJHS community actively participated in preparing the necessary reports and supporting documents, in coordination with the University’s Strategy and Quality Management Office (SQMO), which led to a successful visit.
Mrs Gen Sanvictores, principal of the AJHS, was elated upon hearing about the PAASCU result. "On behalf of the AJHS Leadership Team, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the AJHS PAASCU committees, SQMO, all the teachers, staff, students, university officials, parents, and alumni who participated in this important process,” she said. “This achievement is a testament to our commitment to continuous improvement and growth in the service of our mission, always, for the greater glory of God.”
PAASCU is a private, non-stock, non-profit service organization that ensures that educational institutions in the Philippines meet high standards of excellence.
