In celebration of ALiWW's 30th Anniversary, ALiWW launches the Pamana Podcast.
The Pamana Podcast is a monthly series airing on the last Friday of each month at 6 p.m. on the Ateneo YouTube Channel. The podcast highlights the invaluable contributions of Filipino women writers and artists, whose works are preserved and celebrated within ALiWW’s archives.
The first episode sets the stage by recounting the story of ALiWW’s establishment. Listeners will journey back to its beginnings, learning about the vision that sparked its creation and the determination it took to bring it to life. The episode also dives into the challenges ALiWW faced in building and maintaining its collections, offering insights into the complexities of preserving cultural and literary heritage. Featured prominently are some of ALiWW’s key collections—precious archives that house the voices and legacies of Filipino women who have shaped the nation’s cultural fabric.
By sharing these stories, Pamana Podcast sheds light on the enduring importance of ALiWW’s mission.
