Ateneo Law hosts campus tour for aspiring law students

On 16 November 2024, the Ateneo Law School welcomed 73 undergraduate students from Ateneo de Manila University for an engaging campus tour as part of "Law School Week 2024: Chart Your Course in Law." The event, organized by Ateneo Lex, a student law organization, aimed to give participants a firsthand experience of law school life while inspiring them to pursue a career in legal education.
The tour, led by Ateneo Law faculty member, Atty Eugene Kaw, provided students an opportunity to explore the campus's facilities and immerse themselves in the institution's storied history, mission, and vision. Atty Kaw’s engaging approach offered participants valuable insights into the law school's culture and academic environment.
Adding depth to the program, Atty Billie Blanco, the Internship Director for the Ateneo Human Rights Center (AHRC) and Coordinator for Student Formation, delivered a talk highlighting the AHRC's vital role in advocating for human rights, emphasizing the transformative impact of internships and community engagement in shaping future lawyers.
Atty Maita Chan-Gonzaga, the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs provided an overview of the school’s rigorous academic programs and discussed the admissions process, offering invaluable guidance for students aspiring to join Ateneo Law School.
The event was part of a larger effort to cultivate interest in legal education and provide guidance to undergraduate students in their academic and professional journey.
