Dr Ronald U Mendoza, former ASOG Dean, appointed as Undersecretary for the Department of Education

The Ateneo School of Government (ASOG) proudly congratulates Dr Ronald U Mendoza on his appointment as Undersecretary for the Department of Education.
Dr Mendoza, a distinguished economist and former ASOG Dean, brings over 25 years of expertise in governance and public administration reforms. He currently serves as a Senior Economist and Senior Research Fellow at the Ateneo Policy Center, ASOG’s policy think tank. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in shaping public policy in the Philippines and Southeast Asia, with a focus on governance and institutional reforms.
His steadfast commitment to education reform, demonstrated by his leadership in numerous governance and education initiatives, positions him to make a significant impact in his new role. Dr Mendoza's extensive experience in policy development and institutional strengthening will be crucial in advancing the nation’s educational goals.
We take immense pride in his achievements and look forward to the positive changes he will spearhead in this new chapter of his career.
