Rivera is Northern Canada BP debate's Open Finals Best Speaker

After ranking 4th in the Open Category, Ateneo de Manila Senior High School debater Leah Joy Rivera (12-Beyzym) & her teammate from MGC New Life Christian Academy emerged as Open Grand Champions of the Northern Canada British Parliamentary Championship (NCBPC) 2024 held last June.
Individually, Leah Joy was also named 9th Best Open Speaker and Open Finals Best Speaker.
Hosted by Saskatchewan Elocution and Debate Association (SEDA), the NCPBC 2024 was an intensive British Parliamentary high school debate tournament which attracted experienced debaters and adjudicators from various debate institutions across the globe. It was held online on 22-23 June 2024.
