AJHS faculty Jerome Ignacio, nakamit ang Unang Gantimpala sa Pagsulat ng Dulang Tandem/Duo sa Dula Táyo 2024

Nakamit ni Jerome Ignacio ng Kagawarang Filipino ng Ateneo de Manila Junior High School ang Unang Gantimpala sa timpalak Dula Táyo ng Dangal ng Wikang Filipino 2024! Nagwagi si G. Ignacio sa kategoryang Pagsulat ng Dulang Tandem/Duo para sa kaniyang akdang “Ang PTC,” at tumanggap ng P10,000 at plake mula sa Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF), na siyang nagtaguyod ng timpalak.
Ayon sa Facebook page ng KWF, “ang Dulang Tandem/Duo ay tawag sa anyo ng maikling dula na may iisang yugto, tagpuan, tunggalian, at isinasadula ang isang maliwanag na banghay o daloy ng kuwento. Tinatawag itong Dulang Tandem/Duo dahil umiikot lámang ang kuwento sa mga diyalago ng dalawang tauhan.”
Ayon din sa KWF FB page, ang Dula Táyo 2024 ay timpalak na itinataguyod ng KWF para sa Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa noong Agosto “bilang pakikiisa nito sa pagdiriwang ng UNESCO International Decade of the Indigenous Languages (IDIL) 2022–2032, at ng SDGs Manila ResiliArt EarthSaving Event (sa ilalim ng UNESCO patronage) sa pangunguna ng International Theater Institute (ITI)-Philippines Center.”
Ang gabi ng parangal para sa Dangal ng Wikang Filipino 2024 ay ginanap sa Dusit Thani Manila, Lungsod ng Makati, noong ika-19 ng Agosto 2024.
