Research paper by Veloso, Castro & Alfonso presented at APA conference in Seattle

Out of thousands of submissions, the research paper written by Ms Marites R Veloso, Ms Claire G Castro, & Ms Tina S Alfonso of the Ateneo de Manila Junior High School (AJHS) community was accepted for presentation at the prestigious American Psychological Association (APA) Convention last month. Entitled “Mapping Gen Z’s Career Journey: A Deep Dive on Career Factors and Digital Technology,” their study was presented and showcased in the APA Convention held from 8 -10 August 2024 at the Seattle Washington Convention Center in the USA.

Ms Veloso is Director of the AJHS/ASHS Testing & Research Office and a Lecturer at the Gokongwei Brothers School of Education and Learning Design (GBSEALD), Department of Curriculum Pedagogy & Assessment. Ms Castro is Psychometrician of the AJHS Testing and Research Office, while Ms Alfonso is a quality assurance analyst of the University's Strategy and Quality Management Office (SQMO).
Described by Ms Veloso as “an amazing opportunity to interact with so many inspiring professionals in the field,” the three-day convention was successful in its aim to foster energetic, insightful, and passionate discussions about the latest research and trends in psychology and its subdisciplines.
