'One BRIG Fight' sees AJHS teachers and staff cleaning up six schools for opening of SY 2024-2025

"One BRIG Fight!"

So declared the pubmats which announced the Brigada Eskwela-inspired activity of Ateneo de Manila Junior High School faculty, staff, and administrators that took place on 12 July 2024. On that day, the AJHS formators cheerfully helped in the clean-up of six elementary schools in Quezon City, Marikina, Antipolo and Bulacan. The schools which the AJHS teachers visited are located in the communities that AJHS partners with through its "Dama" and "Damay" Christian Service Involvement Programs (CSIP).

Patterned after DepEd’s annual maintenance and cleanup activity of public schools, AJHS’ “One Brig Fight” activity is the first of many for the new “AJHS GABAYAN: Gabay at Alalay para sa Bayan” social involvement program, which aims to provide teachers and staff with additional opportunities to be persons-for-and-with-others.
