Last 29 June 29 2024, the Le Cordon Bleu Ateneo de Manila Institute conferred diplomas and awards to 40 BS REnt graduates during the 3rd LCB Degree Recognition Program held at The Loft, Areté.
Among those who graced the event were Dr Maria Luz C Vilches, Vice President for Higher Education; Dr.Roberto Martin Galang, Dean of the John Gokongwei School of Management; Chef Cyrille Soenen, LCB Technical Director; Ms Liza Morales, LCB Ateneo Institute Director; Chef Annalisa Margarita Mariano, BS Restaurant Entrepreneurship Program Director; and Mr. Leo Vergara, BS REnt Instructor & Internship Coordinator.
Moreover, prolific food writer and restaurateur Chef Angelo Comsti (BS CTM '02) and LCB Sydney Alumnus attended the program and imparted an inspirational speech to the Class of 2024 about continuously persevering and pushing boundaries in the food & beverage industry.
The awarding of diplomas, gold coins, and toques soon followed suit. This ceremony held special significance, as the Class of 2024 was presented with not one, but two diplomas. All BS REnt graduates received one diploma from JGSOM Ateneo de Manila University, and another from Le Cordon Bleu International—in which the latter automatically registers BS REnt graduates into LCB's vast global network of alumni. This perk opens doors to countless opportunities for collaboration and career advancement on a worldwide scale.
Afterward, Batch 2024 representative Jerome Pascua (BS REnt '24) shared his message on behalf of the graduating class. In his speech, he highlighted the theme of growth; and how it manifested throughout the years he spent in college.
BS REnt senior Cygnet Co (BS REnt '24) led the thanksgiving message, wherein she expressed gratitude to all parents and friends who helped each graduate become the people that they are today. This heartfelt message was followed by a touching ceremony where each student presented a token of appreciation to their loved ones in attendance.
To cap off the program, the entire batch took photos together one last time and participated in the much-awaited traditional toque toss.
Once again, a warm congratulations to BS REnt's Class of 2024! May you all take the concept of Magis in all the paths you take, and may you never forget to always become a man for others as you begin a new chapter of your journey.
