Batch HS’69, Col’73, ME’74, and Blue Eagle Foundation, Inc

Last 31 May 2024, Fr Norberto “Kit” Bautista SJ, Office of University Development & Alumni Affairs (OUDAA) Director, attended and officiated the bi-annual reunion and Mass of Batch HS '69, Col ’73, ME '74 at the Philippine Navy Golf Club, Makati.

Attendees include Mr Renato Claravall, Mr Tito Panlilio, Mr Jess Birosel, Mr Belizario, Mr Freddie Salinda, Mr.Enteng Mendoza, Mr Mario Fernandez, Mr Ramon “Monchito” Roco, and Mr Philip Ycasiano. The event also totaled 70 attendees.

The Blue Eagle Foundation, Inc was a key supporter of their regular gatherings. "It was excellent. We witnessed the reunion of long-lost classmates," expressed Mr. Roco. The event featured a morning golf session followed by a program and dinner in the evening.

Since 2013, the batch has been avidly contributing to the university, supporting various scholarships, outreach programs, and university-wide events. "They are among the most active and generous batches of Ateneo," stated Fr Kit.

To help Ateneo’s plan for the Blue Eagle Gym (BEG) to continue to be a landmark structure and “home of the Blue Eagles”, the alumni batch through the Blue Eagle Foundation, Inc pledged support for 30 upper box seats for the BEG project.

Batch HS '69, Col ’73, ME '74 continue to contribute to the development plans of Ateneo. The alumni’s Ignatian spirit of giving underscores their strong connection with the university. As grateful and generous alumni, they will have a lasting impact on future Ateneans, further enriching their legacy at the Ateneo. One Big Fight!
