Flourish and Thrive, now in its second year, eagerly anticipates the celebration of companionship and growth among graduating student leaders as they culminate their student activities life. This year's Flourish and Thrive is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 18th May at The Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan in Bridgetowne, Quezon City.
The event promises an evening of Dinner Fellowship and a heartfelt Toast to the Graduating Student Leadership of the Sanggunian, Student Organizations within the Council of Organizations of the Ateneo - Manila, and the Confederation of Publications. Over 200 esteemed student leaders are poised to grace the occasion, marking it as a memorable gathering to celebrate their dedication and commitment to their respective student organizations, advocacies and partner communities.
In addition to the student leaders, Flourish and Thrive extends invitations to distinguished school officials, esteemed faculty members, and mentors who have contributed profoundly to the development and success of these young leaders.
Themed "Igniting Hope," this year's Gala draws inspiration from the words of Pope Francis in his encyclical Fratelli Tutti, emphasizing the importance of fraternity and social friendship as essential elements for building a more just and fraternal world. In a time where challenges and uncertainties loom large, the theme serves as a beacon of hope and solidarity, urging all attendees to cultivate a better future together.
As Flourish and Thrive looks forward to this evening of reflection and celebration, it reaffirms its commitment to nurturing leadership grounded in empathy, compassion, and a shared vision of a better tomorrow.
