Ateneo Law Class of 1998 donates sculpture to honor Fr Joaquin Bernas SJ

On 9 May 2024, the Ateneo Law Class of 1998 turned over to the Ateneo Law School a sculpture that was commissioned to honor Fr Joaquin Bernas SJ. The sculpture entitled “Amicus Curiae” is a contemporary representation of the legal brilliance of Fr Bernas. The art piece was created by Mateo "Teo" Cacnio, a distinguished Filipino sculptor, renowned for his expertise in working with metals, notably aluminum.
