Solidarity with Orphans and Widows (SOW) is an SEC-registered organization of mothers, widows, and orphans of extrajudicial killings in the communities around the garbage dumpsite of Payatas. Since the tragic death of their breadwinners, the widows resolved to stand up, organize, and live life again for their children.
Project SOW is the parish response to the War on Drugs in the Ina ng Lupang Pangako Parish, Payatas B, Quezon City. With the help of St Vincent School of Theology and Profesionales en Mision, Inc, SOW runs a sewing shop, supports the scholarship of orphans, fights for human rights and justice, and networks with other advocacy groups.
