IS faculty Ken Abante and IS alumnus Niño Leviste receive UP PEJA Fellowship Awards

Ateneo de Manila University Department of Interdisciplinary Studies research faculty Kenneth Isaiah I Abante and alumnus Dr Enrique Niño P Leviste (AB-IS '97 Psyc-Mgmt) received the University of the Philippines President Edgardo J Angara (UP PEJA) Fellowship during the UP PEJA awarding ceremonies held on 24 Sept 2023. 

UP PEJA Fellowship Award is given to members of the academe, researchers and scholars in the Philippines or abroad "who have distinguished themselves in policy research and has shown leadership potential, experience, and most importantly, commitment to service and the improvement of the education sectors." 

Ken Abante, who currently serves as President of WeSolve Foundation received the fellowship award together with his co-proponent Riz Supreme Comia while Dr Niño Leviste received his fellowship with his co-proponent Ma Glenda Lopez Wui. Both are from the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of Ateneo de Manila University.
