Call for Donations: Old clothes and fabric for Palayan City Overseas Workers Association (PACOWA)
12 May 2023
Old clothes? No more space in your closet? Why not make use of them to support the needs of a community?
A group of Legal Management students from Ateneo is currently in partnership with the Center for Migrant Advocacy. They are working together to help the Palayan City Overseas Workers Association (PACOWA) in ensuring that they have access to equal opportunities and livelihood.
The Palayan City Overseas Workers Association (PACOWA) is composed of 550 members from Overseas Filipino Workers’ families that has been extremely challenged especially during the pandemic wherein they suffered from job loss and financial difficulties. Today, the group’s top priority is to find feasible and long term sources of funding that they can utilize for commercial projects and leveraging their expertise and experiences.

You can take part in helping the community by donating your old clothes and fabric. They will use them to make new clothing and rags for their alternative livelihood.

For members of the Ateneo de Manila University community, you may drop off your old clothes and fabrics from May 12- 20, 2023, 9:00AM-4:00PM at MVP 104, Loyola Schools, Ateneo de Manila University.
A little help can go a long way for our overseas workers.
