Organized by Political Participation for Greater Electoral Integrity (PARTICIPATE), the PARTICIPATE Democracy Summit will gather democracy stakeholders on 11-12 May 2023 at Novotel Manila Araneta City, Cubao, Quezon City.

With the theme “Strengthening Spaces for Democracy,” the plenary session on May 11 will feature a panel of political party leaders who will engage with participants on ways to lessen political polarization and promote greater citizen participation in political and electoral reforms.

Joining the panel will be Rafaela David, Akbayan Party president; Rep. Jose Alvarez, Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP Laban) president; Atty. Neri Colmenares, BAYAN MUNA Partylist chairperson; Ernest Ramel, Aksyon Demokratiko chairperson; and Albay 2nd District Rep. Joey Sarte Salceda.

PARTICIPATE is composed of the consortium of Ateneo School of Government (ASOG), La Salle Institute of Governance (LSIG), National Citizens' Movement for Free Elections (Namfrel), Caucus of Development NGO Networks (CODE-NGO), and Initiatives for Dialogue and Empowerment through Alternative Legal Services (IDEALS, Inc.).
