IndAK is California-bound after placing 3rd in World of Dance PH

Composed of dancers from Ateneo de Manila Junior High School and Senior High School, IndAK placed third in the high school category of World of Dance (WOD) Philippines, which was held on March 12, 2023, at the UP Theater in UP Diliman. IndAK also won the award for Best in Costume.

From IndAK Senior High are Denise Canete (11-Tsuji), Joaquin Casiquin (12-Navarro), Raphael Gaspay (11-Hoyos), Pierre Hermosa (12-Pro), Amanda Jamolod (12-Geronimo), Soleil Jumaquio (11-San Vitores), Shaira Ko (12-Anchieta), Shanelle Ko (11-Hurtado), Kristine Maan (11-Mayer), Shaun Pollisco (12-Holland), Mya Soriano (12-Miki), Zavrina Soriano (12-Acquaviva), and Chantal Valentin (12-Walpole). 

From IndAK Junior High are dancers Roque Bonifacio (La Storta/10-Ferreres), Liam Francisco (Montserrat/8-Ishida), Stephen Materum (Montserrat/10-Maunoir), and Audie Secerio (Montserrat/10-Mangin). 

They were trained and coached by XJ Alonzo and Roco Sanchez for the competition. IndAK is moderated by Julio Morato.

By virtue of its podium finish at WOD Philippines, IndAK will represent the Philippines in the International World of Dance Competition to be held in Anaheim, California, from August 11-14, 2023.
