Teams from 12-Oldcorne and 12-Pantalia successfully present research studies at ASEAN Ecological Conference

Two groups of Ateneo de Manila Senior High School students successfully presented their research studies at the 2022 ASEAN University Network – Ecological Education and Culture (AUN-EEC) Conference. Almira Dickson, Jam Eclarin, Sophia To, and Luvic Venancio of STEM/12-Oldcorne presented their study, “Taking Care of Plants as a Communal Coping Mechanism within the Ateneo Senior High School Community.” Similarly, Eirah Ang, Ten Bagnol, Ellie Cervantes, Tricia Mendoza, and Osh Ong of STEM/12-Pantalia presented their study, “The Covid-19 Pandemic Online Shopping Spree: Awareness vs Practice of Filipino E-Shoppers on Combating the Environmental Impact of Plastic Packaging Waste.”


Hosted jointly by Ateneo de Manila University and University of the Philippines Diliman, the AUN-EEC conference was held online via Zoom on September 14-15, 2022. The ASHS presenters were the only students at the conference, which was attended by experts, academics, civil society leaders, and environmental advocates from various ASEAN universities and the University of Arizona in the USA.
