The Ateneo School of Government (ASoG), through its Executive Education Program, in partnership with the Ateneo de Zamboanga University (ADZU), with the support of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), will implement the Training of Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi (BASULTA) Civil Society Alliance for Inclusive Democracy, from September 19 to September 23, 2022, at the Garden Orchid Hotel, Zamboanga City.
The main objective of the training is to strengthen the capacities of the CSOs in policy formulation and coalition-building. Specifically, the training aims to equip participants with a deeper level of understanding of the significance of policies and their role in influencing policies in the BARMM. The training also aims to provide recommendations for coalition-building which may help participating CSOs promote their policy advocacies.
Composed of three (3) modules, the training will conduct multiple lectures and workshop activities to be facilitated by Atty. Abdel Jamal Disangcopan from the Statutory Committees Support Services of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA), and Ms. Alma May Bulanon from the Ateneo Center for Leadership and Governance of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University (ADZU).
