Elliot Peralta places 3rd in Hong Kong Science Olympiad Mini Experiment

Ateneo de Manila Grade School student Elliot Peralta (5-Ati) emerged as the 2nd runner-up winner of the Hong Kong International Science Olympiad (HKISO) Mini Experiment 2022. He joined the competition’s primary 5 division.

All HKISO heat round participants like Elliot were eligible to join the HKISO Mini Experiment competition. Contestants were required to post a 3 to 5 minute video of their experiment on YouTube on the topic, “How everyone can meet safely during COVID-19.” You can view Elliot’s video on the HKISO website at this link:
The HKISO is a competition held annually around the world and is for students from grades 2 to 12. It closely follows the Hong Kong School Science Syllabus and tests students on what they have learned at their level of content. The entries for the mini experiment came from Indonesia, Philippines, India, and Vietnam.
