Santos and Ylanan each win silver in English language Olympiad's PH round

Ateneo de Manila Senior High School students Yahna Santos (12-Miki) and Harvey Allen Ylanan (12-Sullivan) both won silver awards in the Hippo International English Language Olympiad’s Philippines preliminary round. They competed in the Hippo 5 division of the round, which was held online on February 26, 2022 with more than 450 other contestants from the Philippines.
The Hippo English Language Olympiad is an international competition which promotes the English language, challenges students from around the globe to compete in their knowledge of English, and fosters the development of a shared sense of World identity and integration. It is open to students aged 6 to 19 from all over the world.
