22 Mar 2022
Ateneo de Manila Senior High School (ASHS) has passed the Quezon City local government's school health and safety inspection and received the Safety Seal. This means that the ASHS campus has passed the health and safety standards set by the local government and is deemed safe for face-to-face classes.
The safety audits were conducted by representatives of the QC Engineering Office and the QC Health Office on Friday, 11 March 2022. The inspections covered facilities and protocols that the ASHS was scheduled to use for its pilot run of on-campus classes.
The QC local government issued the Safety Seal recommendation on Tuesday, 15 March 2022. Its validity is until 15 September 2022.

Prior to receiving the Safety Seal, ASHS received the certification from the Quezon City Health Department on 14 March 2022, which stated that the institution’s “...protocols, guidelines and infrastructure have complied with the regulation set by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases” and “…other government standards including recommended minimum health standards that will prevent disease transmission and ensure the safety of personnel and students.”
The ASHS began its pilot in-person (PIP) classes on Monday, 21 March 2022.
