Nathan Ballatan receives ‘Distinction’ citation in PH round of HK Science Olympiad

Ateneo de Manila Junior High School student Nathan Ballatan (LA Storta/7-Collins) won a bronze award and a Distinction citation in the Philippines heat round of the Hong Kong International Science Olympiad (HKISO), which was held online on November 28, 2021.
The HKISO is a science competition held annually around the world. It consists of four main categories (Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Integrated Science) and is for students from grades 2 to 12. It closely follows the Hong Kong School Science Syllabus and tests students on what they have learned at their level of content.
The HKISO Final Round will be held online from June 10 – 14, 2022.
