Anton Doria wins silver and ‘High Distinction’ citation in PH round of HK Science Olympiad

Ateneo de Manila Grade School students Anton Doria (3-Halcon), Ondy Battung (6-De Brito), and Elliot Peralta (5-Ati) were among those who won awards and citations in the Philippines heat round of the Hong Kong International Science Olympiad (HKISO), which was held online on November 28, 2021. Anton led our awardees with a silver award and a High Distinction citation in the primary 3 division. Ondy received a bronze award and the Distinction citation for the primary 6 division, while Elliot received a merit award and a Proficient citation in the primary 5 division.

The HKISO is a competition held annually around the world. It consists of four main categories (Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Integrated Science) and is for students from grades 2 to 12. It closely follows the Hong Kong School Science Syllabus and tests students on what they have learned at their level of content.
The HKISO Final Round will be held online from June 10 – 14, 2022.
