Ateneo de Manila University is participating in the International Association of Jesuit Universities (IAJU) 2025 Assembly, taking place from 30 June to 3 July at Pontificia Javeriana University in Bogotá, Colombia.
Representing Ateneo at the assembly are Fr Roberto C Yap SJ, University President; Mr Glenn de Leon, Assistant to the President; Ms Cristina M Alikpala MA, Assistant Vice President for University Partnerships and Internationalization; Dr Philip Arnold P Tuaño (Economics Department); and Dr Ma Regina Hechanova (Psychology Department). Both Dr Tuaño and Dr Hechanova are serving as panelists. They will engage in plenary discussions, working groups, and networking activities designed to deepen collaboration across the global Jesuit university network.
This international gathering brings together representatives from Jesuit higher education institutions around the world to reflect on the timely and urgent theme: “Our Mission in Challenging Times.”
As the assembly begins with the Opening Eucharist, Ateneo stands in solidarity with Jesuit universities across the globe—united in faith, committed to justice, and steadfast in advancing our shared mission of transformative education amid challenging times.
