Executive Course on Governance and Leadership for Newly Elected Officials

We are pleased to invite you to our Executive Course on Governance and Leadership, this 13 to 15 August from 8 AM to 5 PM at the Ateneo de Manila University Loyola Campus. This course is designed to onboard newly elected officials into their roles and on the core competencies needed to lead and serve effectively in public office.

Course Overview:
Day 1: Aligning Leadership in Local Governance
Day 2: Policy and Legislation for Results
Day 3: Leading with Integrity and Strategic Communication

Objectives:

1. Understand the structure, legal foundations, and operational dynamics of Philippine local governance and legislative processes.
2. Use tools in policymaking, strategic communication, and legislative work to collaboratively define and implement the administration's priorities.
3. Demonstrate commitment to good governance principles, trust-building, and inclusive governance in advancing public service goals.

• Newly elected Mayors and Vice-Mayors
• First-time Governors and Vice-Governors
• Local legislators (Councilors and Board Members)
• Senior executive officials and department heads
• Staff and Technical Advisers

The course is also open to officials seeking a refresher on local governance fundamentals and core leadership practices.

The PHP 23,000 training fee includes a certificate and ASOG Executive Education Program jacket (upon successful completion of course requirements); course and training materials; meals (AM-PM snacks and lunch); and access to post-training resources for continuous learning.
