Training Course on Introduction to Public-Private Partnerships

The Ateneo School of Government through its Executive Education Program invites you to the training course on Introduction to Public-Private Partnerships scheduled on July 31 to August 1 at Ateneo de Manila University Loyola Campus.

Equivalent to 16 Learning Hours, this course provides an overview of the principles, structures, and practical applications of PPPs in economic and infrastructure development. Participants will explore the key elements of PPPs, legal and regulatory frameworks, risk management strategies, and practical insights into the design, structure and analysis of PPP projects across a multitude of infrastructure applications like transportation, toll roads, water and sanitation, education, health, among others.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Grasp the definition, significance, and various models of PPPs and learn the roles and responsibilities of public and private partners within PPP frameworks.
  2. Understand the processes for solicited and unsolicited PPP projects under the new guidelines under the new PPP code.
  3. Learn best practices for managing the lifecycle of PPP projects through practical examples and interactive discussions

This course is ideal for officials and project development officers of LGUs and National Government Agencies, and project development officers of private corporations. The course will also be facilitated by an industry expert and consultant for international donor funded projects, Mr. Lawrence G. Velasco, CPA. 

The course fee of Php 15,000 is inclusive of certificate (upon successful completion of course requirements), training materials, access to post-training resources and peer learning opportunities, and meals (light snacks and lunch). A discounted rate of Php 12,750 is also offered to officials and staff of Local Government Units (please refer to the registration form for further instructions on how to avail of this offer).
