Flowers for You: Flower Stamping and Engraving Workshop
Celebrate Global Parents’ Day at Areté!
Join The Wednesday Project’s “Flowers for You: Flower Stamping and Engraving Workshop”—a creative bonding experience for parents and children (or guardians and parental figures) to make a keepsake together.
In this hands-on session, pairs will use flower petals and leaves to create stamped artworks, which will then be scanned and prepared for laser engraving into earrings, keychains, or trinkets.
Jesuit priest and contemporary artist Fr Jason Dy SJ will be the workshop’s resource speaker. Fr Jason is a lecturer at Ateneo’s Department of Fine Arts and serves as Chaplain of the Jesuit Volunteers Philippines. He is known for blending art and spirituality, exploring themes of nature and memory as inspired by Japanese traditions like ikebana and wabi-sabi.
The workshop is open to the general public and is intended for participants aged 5 and above. No design experience needed!
Participation fee: ₱500 (for the pair; inclusive of all materials plus equipment use)
