Laudato Si' Week 2025: "Raising Hope"

The Ateneo Institute of Sustainability is inviting the Ateneo community to celebrate with us this year's Laudato Si' Week with the theme "Raising Hope". Marking the 10th year anniversary of Laudato Si', the theme centers on remembering the joy our planet brings us and uplifting spirits amidst our struggles to push forward in improving our common home.

Sustainability Essentials

The Sustainability Essentials Workshop is an on-site workshop for the Ateneo community on introductory concepts on sustainability, updates on SDGs, and embodying sustainability in the workplace and in our daily life. This iteration is open to Ateneo de Manila employees.

Let us celebrate as a community the Laudato Si’ Week with an outdoor mass co-sponsored by AIS and the Office of Campus Ministry. Inspired by the majestic and colorful display of our environment, the mass is part of the celebration of Flores de Mayo and in honor of Our Lady of Fatima, commonly associated with hope.

Sustainability Trivia Morning

Put your sustainability knowledge to the test! This interactive event invites all members of the community to come together for a friendly contest on sustainability, SDGs, Laudato Si’ goals and more. Trivia is a great way to connect, learn, and celebrate our commitment to sustainability!

Blue Roots: Ateneans for Climate

Eco-Anxiety Workshop

There is a lot going on in the world today – and while collective action toward caring for our common home is urgently needed, there is merit examining our fears and anxieties, and the possibility of hope. This workshop will give participants the opportunity to creatively express these through art, writing, and movement.

Sustainability Walk for Employees

The Sustainability Walk offers a unique opportunity to explore the journey of the Ateneo de Manila’s commitment to integral ecology. This walking tour is designed to raise awareness of the campus’s ongoing sustainability initiatives while driving conversations on the principles behind them.
