AREA HospitaliTALKS: Kapihan - Bean There, Brew That

KAPIHAN, is an initiative that aims to connect coffee enthusiasts and the coffee beverage and product sector. This event features a coffee beverage conference for AREA members, the Ateneo community, and anyone with a love and passion for the craft of coffee. This conference offers an opportunity for the aforementioned individuals to learn and professionally grow through this 2-day event of talks, engaging discussions, and workshops. 

The 2-day event will cover various topics, including the science of coffee beans, the farm-to-table process, coffee making (including latte art), and the business behind the industry. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts and gain basic knowledge and skills in relation to: coffee preparation, deep insights about the coffee industry, and aspects surrounding the industry’s latest trends.

“Bean there, Brew that” will be an introduction to the basics of coffee, the different kinds of coffee drinks, and the various methods used to make coffee. A breakdown and demonstration of the coffee-making process by experienced professionals.

This session takes place from 12:30 to 4:00 pm on 21 November 2024 at Salon Curnonsky, Le Cordon Bleu Ateneo de Manila and will feature guest speakers Chef Mianne of Key Coffee and  Clayton Paul Munar of Monin Asia.
