University Gender Hub and University Gender and Development Office along with different transgender activist groups like Pinoy FTM, TransHealth Philippines, PPATH, Lakambini, and Babaylanes are commemorating Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) tomorrow, November 20, 2024.
TDOR is commemorated around the world as we remember our transgender siblings who passed away due to hate and violence. We invite the Ateneo Community to offer support to the transgender community by attending the candlelight vigil tomorrow at 5:30 PM in Zen Garden. During the vigil, we will hold candles as we read out the names of our transgender siblings who passed and remember them in our hearts
