UGDO Inclusivity Talks - Bridging Cultural Divides in the University Space: Interrogating Bias, Understanding Inclusion and Advancing Equity and Wellbeing
This forum provides an opportunity for the University community to deepen their understanding of the Strategic Plan thrust, “bridging cultural divides.” What does this mean for us as practitioners and community members in the education sector? This session seeks to uncover how unconscious bias shapes our academic and professional environments; highlight the role of equity in breaking down barriers to exclusion, and establish a starting point for a dialogue on inclusivity in university spaces then relate this to strategies and model programs that foreground wellbeing to advance equity in the context of work and student life in the University.
This event is organized by the University Gender and Development Office (UGDO) in partnership with the Department of Political Science.
The forum will be held on 7 November 2024, Thursday, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Escaler Hall and via Zoom. Should you have any questions or need clarification, please contact us at genderdev@ateneo.edu.
