Mass of Remembering (Mass for the Faithful Departed)

“All who die in God’s grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified, are indeed assured of their eternal salvation; but after death they undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven.”

The Church dedicates the month of November commemorating all the faithful who have gone ahead of us. Praying for the dead is a spiritual work of mercy that shows our love and support for our dearly departed though they are not with us anymore.
As one community, let us celebrate the Holy Eucharist to commemorate the faithful departed on 5 November 2024 (Tuesday), 12noon at the Church of the Gesù. Father Raymund Benedict Q. Hizon, SJ will be our presider and homilist.
Confessions and the praying of the Rosary will start at 1130AM. Birthday celebrants for November will also be given a special blessing during the Mass.

Itinalaga ng Simbahan ang buwan ng Nobyembre upang gunitain ang mga pumanaw. Ang pagdarasal para sa mga yumao ay isang ispiritwal na gawain ng awa na nagpapahayag ng ating pagmamahal at suporta para sa ating mga mahal sa buhay na hindi na natin kapiling.
Bilang isang komunidad, magdiwang tayo ng Banal na Eukaristiya upang alalahanin ang ating mga mahal na yumao ngayong ika-5 ng Nobyembre 2024 (Martes), ika-12NT, sa Simbahan ng Gesù. Si Padre Raymund Benedict Q. Hizon, SJ ang ating tagapamuno.
Ang pangungumpisal at pagdarasal ng Rosaryo ay magsisimula sa ganap na 1130NU. Bibigyan din ng natatanging pagbabasbas ang mga may kaarawan sa buwan ng Nobyembre sa Misang ito.
