Our Biodiversity Agenda A roundtable discussion on biodiversity initiatives in the University
In line with the International Day on Biological Diversity on May 22, we cordially invite you to join us at the Ateneo Institute of Sustainability (AIS) in a roundtable discussion on biodiversity conservation titled: “Our Biodiversity Agenda”.
The theme of this year's IDB is "Be part of the Plan" which highlights the need for collective action to achieve the goals of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF) by 2030. This roundtable discussion will bring together different units and offices within the university to explore ways to collaborate on biodiversity conservation, promotion, and research. The aim is to leverage resources and expertise within Ateneo to contribute to the global effort of preventing species decline.
By the end of the roundtable discussion, the participants shall:
- gain a broader understanding of the different initiatives related to biodiversity on campus;
- articulate possible avenues for collaboration between the different groups, and;
- develop a common view on the community’s role in advancing biodiversity conservation and promotion.
