Roundtable Discussion on the Crucial Role of Social Enterprises in the Circular Economy
Join us on our Roundtable Discussion on the Crucial Role of Social Enterprises in the Circular Economy on April 30!
"The transition to a circular economy is gaining momentum globally as businesses, governments, and civil society recognize the urgent need to shift from a linear “take-make-dispose” model to a more sustainable and regenerative approach. However, little has been researched about the intersection of the circular economy and the social economy and how these systems can reinforce each other to tackle environmental and social challenges."
In line with this, the Institute for Social Entrepreneurship in Asia (ISEA), United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP), Catalyst 2030, World Economic Forum’s Global Alliance for Social Entrepreneurship, IKEA Social Entrepreneurship, World Fair Trade Organization Asia, Ateneo Center for Social Entrepreneurship (ACSEnt), and Multi-Stakeholder Platform on Decent Work for All in Sustainable Value Chains organize a Roundtable Discussion on the Crucial Role of Social Enterprises in the Circular Economy and the Asia-Pacific Launch of "Inclusive Loops: The Crucial Role of Social Enterprises in the Circular Economy" on April 30, 2024 (Tuesday), 14:00 - 17:00 Manila/Beijing Time GMT+8.
It will be organized in a hybrid format where face-to-face participants shall join at Faber Hall, Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City, Philippines and online participants shall join via Zoom. It will also be live-streamed via Facebook Live!
