We are cordially inviting you to the first SDG2 Webinar for 2024 titled, “Nourish the Nation: Advocacies on Nutrition."
This webinar was conceptualized to bring to focus the importance of finding more sustainable ways to scale up and solve the problem of malnutrition. It is hoped that with a greater awareness of the nutrition problem in the country, more concrete actions can be taken by individuals, other groups, sectors in society at all levels - to really enable a whole-of-society approach to solving the hunger and nutrition problem in the country particularly for the most vulnerable and marginalized.
The webinar, which will be on 12 March 2024 (Tuesday) at 2:00 – 5:00 PM (Philippine time), will feature the following speakers:
- Ms. Maria Cecilia Pastores - Food Security and Nutrition Specialist, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Philippines
- Ms. Milagros Kilayco - President, Negrense Volunteers for Change
- Mr. Dodgie Osabel - SIKHAY Trustee
- Ms. Rome Kanapi - SIKHAY Trustee
The webinar will be moderated by Mr. Mark Paul Samante, Chairperson of the University Community Engagement and Advocacy Council (UCEAC), Ateneo de Davao University.
