Japanese Studies Week
From 23 to 27 October 2023, the Japanese Studies Program from the School of Social Sciences, in partnership with student organisations Hinomoto and Toushin, are hosting a series of activities that celebrate Japanese culture.
The theme this year is "mottainai," a Japanese phrase rooted in sustainability by finding use or value in what others might consider a waste.
During this week, we hope you can join us in discovering the different ways Japanese people practice sustainability in their everyday lives.
