You are cordially invited to the Twenty-second Jaime V Ongpin Annual Memorial Lecture on Public Service in Business and Government by Mr. Vladimer Quetua, National Chairperson, Alliance of Concerned Teachers.

Mr. Quetua’s lecture, Paghihingalo ng Edukasyon: Sintomas, Sakit at Reseta, will be held at the Ateneo Professional Schools, Rockwell, Makati City, and live-streamed via YouTube on 13 November 2023, Monday, at 2:00 PM.

Following the lecture will be an open forum discussion with the following panel of reactors: Ms Perlita Rana of the All UP Academic Employees Union, Dr Gary Devilles of the Ateneo de Manila Faculty Association, Dr David Michael San Juan of the People’s Education Commission, and Dr. Vicente Paqueo of the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS).

The JVO Annual Memorial Lecture is a program of the Jaime V Ongpin Center for Business and Government (JVO Fund) and the Ateneo School of Government. The JVO Fund was established to help raise awareness of the Filipino people about pressing national development issues, in order to empower them to actively engage in nation-building. Delivered by business leaders, senior government officials, and leading academics, the lectures tackled critically important themes in the nexus of democracy and development, including climate change, corruption, education, federalism, globalization, health inequity, poverty, and national leadership.

You may click on the link for the live streaming via YouTube https://youtube.com/live/Mk-4q9TlvRk?feature=share or register at 22nd JVO Lecture to reserve a seat at the venue.
