Onboarding Session on the Code and the Rules for Student Organizations (OSCARS): Ensuring Safe Spaces

The Office of Student Activities (OSA) and the Council of Organizations of the Ateneo - Manila (COA-M) present this year's Onboarding Session on the Code And Rules for Student Organizations (OSCARs) 2023, focusing on "Ensuring Safe Spaces."
The centerpiece of this year's OSCARs is a comprehensive workshop addressing the vital topic of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) within student organizations. Learn how to navigate and respond effectively when faced with such sensitive situations. Gain insights into the prescribed administrative procedures and protocols associated with handling cases of SGBV. This session will also introduce COA-M's plans and initiatives for the upcoming academic year with regard to Safe Spaces.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, 2 September 2023, as OSCARs 2023 unfolds at the Escaler Hall. The event is thoughtfully divided into two engaging sessions. The morning session commences at 8:00 AM and concludes at 12:00 PM, followed by an equally enlightening afternoon session from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Participants may opt to sign up for either one of the sessions
Mandatory for this year's organization registration process, we kindly request the presence of all Presidents, Vice Presidents for Human Resources, and Moderators from COA-M organizations at one of these sessions. Your active participation ensures a collective understanding of the essential protocols concerning SGBV cases within our vibrant student community. Should scheduling constraints prevent your attendance, you're welcome to delegate a representative from your organization, preferably a Faculty Adviser, to attend in your stead.
