The Institute of Philippine Culture, Results for Development, and the British Embassy Manila invites you to the lecture on the Role of Research in Innovations and Frontier Technologies on 21 March 2023 (Tuesday), 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM at the CTC 101 Global Classroom. 

The lecture will discuss what is the role of research when implementing and experimenting with innovations and frontier technologies. Also, this seeks to discuss the importance of evidence-based implementation in integrating contextual factors for implementing social innovation projects and scaling-up up these interventions at the national level. We will be joined by Luke Heinkel and Ian Vickers from Results for Development (R4D).

This lecture forms part of the eTriage for Social Inclusion: Navigating Out of Vulnerability Situations, otherwise known as “eTSI NOVuS” project by the United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (UK FCDO), supported and monitored by the Frontier Technology Hub Consortium composed of  DT Global International Development UK Ltd. (DT Global), Result for Development (R4D), and Brink. The goal of the project is to develop a robust information system that streamlines data and makes it more accessible while facilitating the use of data to support evidence-based decisions in order to construct an effective health and social benefits service delivery.
