Come and join our community event for the Philippine Startup Week 2022, a nationwide celebration to showcase Filipino startups, connect them to other founders and investors, as well as inspire future technology entrepreneurs. We have two (2) events for this week: the first one is entitled, "Sustainability Connect" to be held on November 15, 2022 at 2:00 - 5:00 PM and the second is entitled, "Scaling Up Innovation" on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 4:00 - 7:00 PM.
Startup founders will be gathered to discuss in front of an audience to discuss their challenges and key learnings in navigating through their startup journey. A talk will be conducted afterward by the SECRA Project to provide guidance to the participants’ conversations over light snacks and beverages that will be served in a common space with the aim of bridging the university-enterprise gap, promoting resilience, and making connections to address their resilience needs.
This event is organized by the Ateneo Intellectual Property Office (AIPO), together with the multi-national project Strengthening University-Enterprise Collaboration for Resilience Communities in Asia (SECRA) project through the Ateneo Institute of Sustainability (AIS) and the John Gokongwei School of Management (JGSOM).
The main parts of the event are as follows:
- Keynote speech on Resilience and Sustainability by Dr. Charlotte Kendra Gotangco-Gonzales, Director of the Ateneo Institute of Sustainability
- Panel discussion with four (4) selected startups about their startup journeys
- Round table discussions, each table focusing on one of the following four (4) clustered Sustainability themes:
- Food, Energy and Water
- Health, Well-being and Security
- Materials and Infrastructure
- Social Inclusivity, Culture and Heritage
- Open networking (light snacks and drinks will be available for onsite participants)
