Zero Hunger
FSWebinar 28 Sept 2022

The joint working group on SDG#2 Zero Hunger, composed of the Ateneo de Manila University, Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan, Ateneo de Davao University, and Sustainable Development Solutions Network Philippines, cordially invites the Ateneo community to participate in the second installment of our webinar series entitled “Different Actors in Sustainable Food Systems and the Future: The Academe”. The webinar will be on 28 September 2022, Wednesday, at 3:00 – 5:00 PM via Zoom.

The goal of the webinar series is to raise awareness on how the discussion on food systems is a multisectoral and interdisciplinary issue with various stakeholders working together to further SDG#2. This webinar, in particular, seeks to explore the role of researchers from HEIs in uncovering insights on topics related to food security, food technology and innovations, and community health and nutrition. This webinar envisions to raise public awareness on the problems caused by food insecurity and undernutrition, and to explore strategies to find sustainable solutions through research and community extension projects done in universities.

This webinar will feature talks from various member institutions of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network Philippines (SDSN PH). The invited panel of resource speakers is as follows:
