AGS Scouting Week
With this year’s theme “Sustaining Growth”, the Boys Scouts of the Philippines continues to provide opportunities and activities for the youth towards the development of significant values in society and in the world. As the students participate in this worldwide movement, they will be equipped with important life skills and experiences to prepare them to be responsible citizens of the country.
The young and developing scouts learn peace, justice, and compassion for others when they serve their brethren, empathize with the troubled, participate in nation-building efforts, and work in solidarity with the underprivileged. Activities like cooking, planting, learning survival skills, and pitching tents, done with and for others may seem simple, but are powerful deeds that develop in them love for self, others, environment, and country.
“There are lots to learn in Scouting.
There are lots to enjoy. There are lots of adventures.
There are lots of fun.
There are lots of magic. There are lots of useful things. There are lots to give you. This is Scouting.”
