4th International Conference on Southeast Asian Gateway Evolution (SAGE2022)

We cordially invite you to the fourth international conference on Southeast Asian Gateway Evolution (SAGE2022) in Manila, the Philippines. This scientific meeting focuses on the origin, diversification, and conservation of Southeast Asia's megadiverse fauna and flora embedded into the context of the region's complex geology and climate history. We are looking forward to welcoming you to this multidisciplinary meeting with contributions to biodiversity science, biogeography, paleontology, geology, climatology and conservation.

This conference is hosted by the Ateneo de Manila University, in collaboration with the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin and the National Museum of the Philippines in Manila. The conference will end with a public gallery and behind-the-scenes tour of the Museum of Natural History of the National Museum of the Philippines. Optional post-conference tour will be held at the Masungi Georeserve.

Special discounted rates are being offered to faculty, staff, research affiliates, and students of Ateneo de Manila University, as well as of collaborating institution (Philippines & Cambodia) under the BIO-PHIL consortium.
