ANWW19 Lecture Series: Daryll Delgado

Para sa unang panayam sa #ANWW19 makakasama natin ang manunulat na si Daryll Delgado, tampok ang kaniyang panayam na pinamagatang "Writing Within and As Labor." Magaganap ito sa Hunyo 7, Martes, mula 5 n.h. hanggang 7 n.g., via Zoom.

Hinggil sa may-akda:

Si Daryll Delgado ang may-akda ng nobelang REMAINS (Ateneo de Naga University Press, 2019), na nakatanggap ng translation grant mula sa National Book Development Board; at koleksiyong AFTER THE BODY DISPLACES WATER (USTPH, 2012), na nagawaran ng Philippine National Book Award para sa maikling kuwento (2013) at napabilang sa shortlist ng Madrigal-Gonzales First Book Award. Isa siya sa mga naging patnugot ng LUNOP (Leyte-Samar Heritage Center, 2015), isang koleksiyon ng mga tula, naratibo, at imahen tungkol sa bagyong Haiyan; at ULIRÁT: Best Contemporary Stories in Translation from the Philippines (Gaudy Boy, 2021). Nagturo siya sa Unibersidad ng Pilipinas, Ateneo de Manila University, at Miriam College. Kasalukuyan siyang nagtatrabaho para sa isang labor at human rights NGO, kung saan pinamumunuan niya ang yunit para sa Research and Stakeholder Engagement, at sumusulat ng mga ulat pandaigdigan hinggil sa migrasyon at mga isyu sa paggawa. Isinilang at lumaki siya sa lungsod Tacloban, at naninirahan sa lungsod Quezon.
