The lecture will present an overview of the Japan tourism market, particularly inbound, and its implication on the transport sector.
Dr. Michelle Pernia is an independent consultant and a lecturer at the School of Architecture, Industrial Design, and the Built Environment at Mapua university. Her research interests include urban planning, environmental studies, and transport policy studies. She previously received research fellowship at the Institute of Transport Policy Studies in Japan where her main study dealt with pricing and investment in road transport sector in East Asian countries.
