Launched in 2019, the Ateneo Art Gallery Kids Art Camp is a series of workshops led by practicing visual artists. These activities will offer kids the opportunity to experiment with different forms of media while learning more about Philippine contemporary art.
Kids Art Camp is open to participants ages 6-12. Workshops will be held online every Saturday, from 10 AM to 12 NN, via Zoom. Check out our new line-up of workshops this coming June to July:
June 19 - Botanical Blueprints with Issay Rodriguez
Explore the process of cyanotype and the power of the sun with visual artist Issay Rodriguez. Experience creating blueprint pieces of art using foliage.
June 26 - Decoupage with Miguel Lorenzo Uy
Learn the steps of decoupage and how photos can be transferred and fixed onto a surface with visual artist Miguel Uy.
July 3 - Wheel Suncatcher with Miguel Puyat
Play with color arrangements and create shapes with visual artist Miguel Puyat. Find out how to build kinetic artwork using simple tools.
July 10 - Lifecast Vessels with Lou Lim
Visual artist Lou Lim will guide you through the basics of plaster mold casting. Discover how you can create vessels by lifecasting body parts.
July 17 - Bookmaking with Carina Santos
Visual artist Carina Santos will take you through the process of bookmaking. Learn bookbinding techniques using simple materials.
