SUBJECT:

Plans for Next School Year 2025-2026

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Greetings from Ateneo de Manila Grade School!

As the month of May draws to a close, we celebrate the successful completion of another academic year. This milestone also marks the beginning of our preparations for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Building upon the positive outcomes and valuable experiences from this past year, we are pleased to announce that we will continue with full onsite classes for the new academic year.

Pre-Academic Year Preparations

As we enjoy our well-deserved two-month break and anticipate the opening of the new school year, please note the following important preparations and considerations:

ONSITE Parent Orientations will be conducted by grade level during the month of July. A separate memorandum will be released detailing the specific times and venues for these orientations.

Kinder July 15, 2025 Tuesday
Grade 1 July 15, 2025 Tuesday
Grade 2 July 16, 2025 Wednesday
Grade 3 July 17, 2025 Thursday
Grade 4 July 17, 2025 Thursday
Grade 5 July 18, 2025 Friday
Grade 6 July 18, 2025 Friday
First Day of Classes

All students are expected to report to school onsite on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, the official first day of classes.

Academic Schedule Overview

The first week of classes, known as Schola Brevis, will feature a lighter academic load to facilitate a smooth transition. Beginning with the second week, we will implement our regular academic schedule. Please note that certain grade levels will have extended school days compared to others. A sample weekly schedule is available here.

Some grade level schedules include provisions for Activity Periods, which may be utilized for formation activities and other educational programs as needed. Additionally, certain levels will have designated PLAY periods and INTRAMS incorporated into their schedules.

Technology Requirements

Google Workspace for Education will continue to serve as our primary Learning Management System (LMS). To ensure optimal performance and learning experience, we recommend the following minimum computer specifications for student use:

  • Processor: Intel i5 (10th generation or newer) or equivalent
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • Storage: 256 GB
  • Operating System: Windows 11
  • Webcam: 720p resolution
  • Internet Bandwidth: 5 Mbps per device
Health and Safety Protocols

In faithful compliance with relevant Department of Education (DepEd) Orders, the Grade School remains committed to ensuring the strict implementation of and compliance with health and safety protocols during the conduct of face-to-face classes. You can be assured that the University will maintain rigorous adherence to these standards.
