Officer-in-Charge, Office of the Vice President for Higher Education (Memo U2425-103)

I would like to inform the community that Dr Maria Luz C Vilches, Vice President for Higher Education, will be away from 29 May to 2 June 2025 to represent the Ateneo de Manila at the 127th Philippine Independence Day Celebration in New York City, USA, organized by the Philippine Independence Day Council, Inc (PIDCI) in cooperation with the Consulate General of the Philippines in NYC. As part of the 3-day celebration, Dr Vilches will participate in the Philippine Higher Education Forum and Exhibit together with other Philippine universities. After the forum, Dr Vilches will take a break with family from 3 to 9 June 2025.

Dr Cenon R Alfonso, Dean of the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health, will be the Officer-in-Charge during this period.

All routine business related to GBSEALD, JGSOM, RGL-SOSS, SOH, and SOSE, should be brought to the attention of Ms Paula Agnes A Angeles (pangeles@ateneo.edu), Coordinator for Finance and Budget. While all routine business related to AGSB, ALS, ASMPH, and ASOG should be brought to the attention of Ms Carolyn M Cabardo (cmcabardo@ateneo.edu), Assistant to the VPHE.
