SUBJECT:
Work Arrangements for Employees Affected by the Nationwide Transport Strike - 24-26 March 2025
In anticipation of the effects of the planned 3-day nationwide transport strike announced by Manibela commencing on Monday, 24 March 2025, special work arrangements are extended to employees reporting to the Loyola campus. Specifically, these are employees of Higher Education and the support clusters–Administration, Digital Information and Technology Services, Finance, Human Resources, Mission Integration, and President’s.
In consideration for commuters who may experience difficulties traveling to and from work, employees whose areas will be affected by the transport strike may:
- work from home after seeking permission from their supervisor/office head; or
- file their emergency leave with express approval from their supervisor, if their work cannot be performed from home.
Please take note that employees of the Basic Education shall be covered by the announcements made by their headmaster and principals. Likewise, employees from the School of Government, School of Medicine and Public Health, Law School, and Graduate School of Business shall follow the directions on work arrangements provided by their respective deans.
Please be guided accordingly.
